Where we work

Removalists across
the Central Goldfields

We're based in Maryborough and move furniture across these towns week in, week out. A bit about each one below — tap a town with its own page to see more, or if your town isn't on the list, tell us where you're headed and we'll price the run.

Maryborough Home base

Our depot is here, so Maryborough jobs get the shortest lead times and the best local knowledge — the wide main street, the grand old railway station precinct and the mix of weatherboard cottages and larger family homes. Most of our week starts and ends on these streets.

Carisbrook

A small township just down the road from Maryborough, Carisbrook is a common quick-turnaround job for us — in-town moves, downsizes and the odd rural block on the edge of town. Close enough that we can often fit these in around bigger jobs.

Dunolly

One of the old goldfields towns, Dunolly has plenty of character homes with narrow doorways and older staircases, which is exactly the kind of job our team is used to handling carefully. We see a good mix of long-time residents downsizing and newcomers drawn by the heritage streetscape.

Talbot

Talbot is a tiny, tightly-laid-out goldrush township, so access and street parking are often the main planning point for a move here. We know the lanes and the older cottages well enough to plan the truck position before we arrive.

Clunes

Famous for its beautifully preserved streetscape (and its film-set good looks), Clunes attracts a lot of tree-changers moving out from Melbourne and Ballarat. We regularly help with these longer moves as well as local shifts within the town.

Creswick

A forested town on the way to Ballarat, Creswick has a steady mix of family home moves and student-related shifts thanks to the local campus. It's a route we run often, so timing and pricing are usually straightforward.

Castlemaine

A thriving arts and heritage town, Castlemaine keeps growing in popularity, and we see everything from young families into weatherboard homes to downsizers moving into the town's terraces and apartments. It's one of our more regular runs east of Maryborough.

Newstead

A small, close-knit township near Castlemaine, Newstead moves are often acreage or lifestyle-block jobs with a bit more room to manoeuvre than an inner-town street — which usually makes for an easier day for everyone.

Beaufort

Sitting on the Western Highway between Ballarat and Ararat, Beaufort is a farming community town, and our jobs here are a mix of township homes and properties just out of town. A straightforward, well-travelled route for us.

Avoca

Gateway to the Pyrenees wine region, Avoca moves often come with a rural or farm property attached — sheds, machinery access and larger loads as well as the house itself. We plan these jobs with the extra space and access in mind.

Daylesford

Spa country's popularity means a lot of our Daylesford work is lifestyle moves — sea-changers (or rather spa-changers) relocating permanently, plus the occasional holiday-home shift. Streets can be narrow and busy with visitors, so we plan arrival times carefully.

St Arnaud

Further north again, St Arnaud has wide, easy streets and plenty of solid older homes — generally a comfortable town to move furniture in and out of. It's a longer run for us, so these jobs are usually booked with a bit more notice.

Ballarat

One of our busiest regional runs, Ballarat brings everything from CBD apartment moves to full family homes in the outer suburbs. Traffic and parking permits are more of a factor here than in the smaller towns, so we build that into the plan.

See our Ballarat page →

Bendigo

Our other major regional city run, Bendigo jobs range from single-item deliveries to full house and office relocations. With more multi-storey buildings and commercial sites than our smaller towns, these moves often need a bit more logistics up front.

See our Bendigo page →

Trentham

A cooler-climate favourite for tree changers, Trentham moves are often a full relocation from Melbourne onto a bigger block, alongside jobs on the gravel driveways and lifestyle properties just out of town. We plan access before the truck arrives.

Hepburn Springs

Right next to the mineral springs, Hepburn Springs has steeper, narrower streets than most of our towns, plus a cluster of guesthouses and B&Bs we regularly deliver to. Careful truck positioning is the main planning point here.

Maldon

Victoria's first notable town, Maldon's entire streetscape is heritage-listed — narrow lanes, original low doorways and cottages that need a gentler touch. We see plenty of downsizers and heritage lovers moving in, and we plan the carry route carefully.
